Need to Know
As we prepare to come together for our community iftars, we kindly ask you to observe the following general instructions to ensure a pleasant and organized experience for everyone:
Keep it simple and healthy
We encourage you to avoid soft drinks and opt for healthier alternatives.
Warm food and serving utensils
Please warm up the food before arriving at the masjid and bring appropriate serving utensils.
Mindful consumption
To prevent food waste, take small portions and go back for more if needed. Serve the people around you and enjoy the blessings of sharing.
Prioritize elders and fasting children
Serve elders first and honour the courage of young fasting children by taking them to the front of the line.
Last 10 days
During the last 10 days of Ramadan, kindly serve worshippers in i'tikaf first.
Minimize waste
We're committed to reducing our environmental impact. Please familiarize yourself with our waste system:
Biodegradable bags on racks
Food waste, tea bags, paper plates, used napkins, bamboo utensils, biodegradable cups, and paper coffee cups.
Stainless steel bins with black garbage bags
Plastic cups and Styrofoam cups.
No food or drinks in the prayer area
Please refrain from bringing food, tea, or coffee into the Musalla area (prayer space).
Cancellation notice
If you are unable to attend the potluck and have registered, kindly inform the group at least 24 hours in advance.
Embrace the potluck spirit
The charm of a potluck lies in everyone being a host. Let's work together to create a joyful, heartwarming, and well-organized event. We look forward to sharing these blessed iftar gatherings with you and growing together as a united community.
May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and acts of worship.
